NFL Week 1 Betting Odds
5Dimes known for their vast amount of betting props has posted early betting lines for Week 1 of the NFL regular season. Sure some of you will think that it's a bit early to place bets on WEEK 1 NFL games without seeing how each team's new acquisitions are faring, but in reality if you have done your homework in the offseason you should have a good idea of which wagering lines are more weighted to last season's team than this year's edition.
From our side of the fence the Redskins at Giants game is one of those match ups where the linesmaker has slanted this game to the public's perception of last season. The signing of superstar DT A. Hainesworth will reap huge dividends for Washington, a team that struggled against some of the better power running teams last season. The division rival NY Giants are one of those teams. The Giants OL had everything their way against the Redskins DL, raking up 262 yards on the ground in two games last season. Both were straight up and against the spread wins for the Giants. These two teams meet again in the opening week of the season with the Redskins grabbing 6 points on the road in the Meadowlands. Our money will be on the underdog in what we feel will be a tough defensive struggle throughout.
Some other games we'd consider betting on would be the Eagles as a 1.5 point dog on the road in Carolina and the Jaguars grabbing 7 points at Indianapolis.
